Tea
Tea is an aromatic beverage prepared by pouring hot or boiling water over cured or fresh leaves of Camellia sinensis, an evergreen shrub native to East Asia which originated in the borderlands of south-western China and northern Myanmar.
Ingredients:
- Sugar
- Milk
- Tea Bags
Recipe:
- Heat the milk in a saucepan over a very low heat. Empty the contents of the tea bags into the pan.
- Sweeten with light brown soft sugar to taste (chai tea should be sweet, but use less if you like), then leave to infuse, but not boil, for 10 mins. Strain into mugs and enjoy.
